How to create a Gallery?

A gallery corresponds to one client whose photos you are working on.

You can access all your client projects in Galleries.

If you are a new user on Huemn, click on the New Gallery button towards the bottom of the screen to create a new project/gallery. You can also navigate to the top right corner and click + New Gallery button.

This will pop a Create Gallery menu on the centre of the screen.

The menu will ask for the following:

  • Gallery name : you can name the gallery as per your requirement

  • Shot During : Insert the date when the event happened. This will sort all your projects on the dashboard based on the event months.

  • Expiry Date : This date sets a limit to the time your clients can access their photos. Once the expiry date is reached, the gallery link shared with the clients becomes invalid.

  • Collaborators : Collaborators are your team members who are working with you on that particular project. You can add collaborators in this section.

  • Gallery theme : Set the look and feel of how your clients receive and view their photos.

  • Client download options :

    Allow web version image downloads

    Optimised images suitable for social media posting. Will contain watermarks if uploaded via Huemn.

    Allow as uploaded image downloads

    Original images as uploaded to the platform. Will contain no watermarks only if it hasn't been pre-applied on images before upload.

  • Client interaction options :

    Enable reviews on albums

    Enabling the client review option will let your clients rate your project and write a detailed feedback about your overall work.

    Note: Can be enabled or disabled at any point.

    Enable suggested edits on photos

    Let your clients suggest edits on any photo. Respond, and upgrade newer versions of the same image in this section.

On creating a gallery successfully, you will now have to create albums that will contain all your photos. Albums are folders based on different events covered under one project, so all photos can be easily categorised.

Click on the + New Album on the top right corner to create a new album of your choice. Simply enter the album name and event date to create the new album,

Click on the album you have just created and you will find the Upload Photos button on the top right corner. Click and you can upload the photos by either dragging and dropping them to the screen or by simply selecting them from the PC.

While uploading images, you will get various kinds of options before you proceed. Add tags, skip duplicates, watermark and change settings to change the position of the watermark are available.

Once all the photos you wish to upload are selected, click on upload photos and let Huemn scan and upload all your images simultaneously.
