Once a performance cycle has been launched in Humaans, you can monitor progress, track completion, and manage reviews. This guide walks you through the process of overseeing an active cycle, managing reviews, and finalising the cycle.
Accessing a performance cycle overview
You can access an active performance cycle overview in the Home menu by clicking Performance, then the desired review.
The Overview Tab will now be visible, displaying:
Metrics of all participants within the cycle.
Standard deviations of performance ratings (e.g., below expectations, meets expectations, exceeds expectations). This is a curve that shows the standard deviation of performance ratings.
Any outstanding review tasks assigned to you.
Monitoring Review progress
You can check the list of users within the cycle to see:
Who has completed their reviews.
Who still has pending reviews.
You can click on a user to view more detailed progress. Having this information can allow you to follow up with participants who have not yet completed their reviews if necessary.
User experience with Performance cycles
When logged in, users will see pending review tasks in the My Tasks section. They will receive email notifications prompting them to complete performance reviews.
Unlike users with Owner/admin permissions, managers only see their direct reports in the Performance section, not all participants.
Standard users will not see the Performance tab in the Home menu. Instead, they will just see My tasks.
Peer nomination process
Peer nomination task appears for the manager.
Owner/admin/manager can select peer nominations.
Once selected, they can then approve from the list of selected peers.
Once confirmed, review is created and will appear as a review task for the peer.
Completing performance reviews
Users assigned to a review cycle will see their assigned tasks under My Tasks.
Clicking Write Review will open the feedback form.
Requesting changes to reviews
Owner and admin can not view or edit review thats in process.
Standard users cannot edit a submitted review.
However, owner/admins can request changes for a review for a user (give examples)
Completing or Canceling a performance cycle
You can complete the cycle in the Overview tab. You can do this when the cycle is fully complete, or beforehand by clicking Complete Cycle in the top right-hand corner.
A confirmation pop-up will notify you that no further reviews can be submitted after completion.

Important: Once a cycle is completed, no further reviews can be submitted.
Canceling a Cycle
Reviewing results of the cycle
Users can access their review results by:
Navigating to their Profile.
Clicking on the Performance section.
Viewing the desired cycle Review Packets
The system will display an overall performance rating summary, and users can click in to get more specific details on the reviews they are allowed to see.
