Connect Humaans to your Slack workspace to receive daily updates about:
Who's away
Who's working from home
Who's working from a different location
Birthdays
Anniversaries
Enabling the integration
To enable the integration:
Open Integrations in the left sidebar
Find the integration for Slack and click "Configure"
Click "Add to Slack"
Log into Slack if prompted
Allow Humaans access to your Slack workspace
Humaans and Slack should now be connected
You can now configure:
The channel where daily updates will be posted
The time when updates will be posted
The events to include in your update
Private channels
You can use private Slack channels to receive updates. First, you will need to add the Humaans App to your private channel where you want to receive the updates.
Open Slack.
Open the private channel you want to post daily Humaans updates to.
Click on the channel name at the top of the channel to open channel settings.
Click on the Integrations tab.
In the Apps section click Add apps.
Search for Humaans.
Click Add.
You should see "Humaans was added to your-private-channel" message.
Open Humaans.
Open Integrations › Slack › Configure.
You should now see your private channel in the channel selector.
