In this guide, you'll learn how to quickly extract any data point about your employees to see historical data points - including past salaries, job roles, and off-boarded employees.
Exporting data
In the Reports you can choose one of the following:
You can download one of our pre built Templates (which you can add or remove data points from).
You can also Create custom reports.
Creating a custom report
To open the custom report window, follow these steps:
In the Home menu, click Reports.
In the top righthand corner, click Create custom report.
The Export data window will open. You can choose from any of your available data points in your custom report.
Data is also sorted into four different sections that you can choose from in the top right-hand corner of the Export data window:

In the top right corner you can select the date range to pull information from. You can select custom dates or use our available prebuilt ranges.
When you have selected your data points and date ranges, you can click Download CSV and export your data in .csv format. By clicking
Save as you can save your report to use again in the future.
All active people will show by default regardless of the date range selected, unless this person will no longer be active within the selected range.
Saved Reports
Saved reports can be named and given a specific date range period:

Monthly: Will default to the current calendar month
Annual: Will default to the current calendar year
All time: Will export a full data history
You can share saved reports with other Owner, Admin and Finance users. Only the creator of a shared report can Delete or Edit the shared report.
Reports saved for personal use will appear in the Private section.
Scheduling reports
When saving a report, you can schedule it to be sent to you and other email addresses at a given frequency:
In the Save report pop-up window, enable the Schedule report option.
Select the frequency you'd like the report to be sent (eg. weekly, monthly, quarterly).
Add the email addresses that you would like the report to be sent to.
Click Save report when you're ready.

Pre-built templates
We offer pre-built Templates that allow a quick export of some of the most commonly sought insights.

List of employees | A report of all employees and their employment details |
Payroll data
| A report of al employees, their tax, banking and compensation info |
Job role changes | A report of all employees that have changed roles across your timeframe |
Compensation changes | A report on changes in employee compensation across your timeframe |
Time away summary | A report summarising all employees Working and Away days |
Time away entries | A report with detailed info on the type of time booked and approval. |
Equipment | A report with each employee's assigned equipment and their details. |
Dietary preferences and food allergies | A report pulling all employees and their allergy and dietary preferences |
Recorded working hours | A report of submitted timesheets for the given time period |
Documents | A report listing all documents and their types attached to employee profiles |
Identity documents | A report that's similar to Documents report, which allows you to export the most recent version of identity documents (by default), or all previous versions.
This report is only available for users with owner, admin, finance and editor permissions. |
