Adding Company documents

Effectively share documents for your entire organsiation.

Humaans allows you to add files/links as shared company documents, that can be accessed by all employees. In this guide, we'll discuss how to add and remove compnay documents from Humaans.


Adding a company document

To add a new shared document, follow these steps:

  • In the Home menu, click Settings, then click Documents.

  • Under Shared company documents, click Add document in top right corner.

  • The Add document window will appear, where you'll be able to name the document, add a link or alternatively a file type.

  • When ready, click Confirm and save document. Once uploaded these documents will be available for Employees to view in their Documents section.

You can upload copies of PDFs, Jpegs, Docs etc. or link to hosted files and sites such as Google Docs, Google Drive folders, or Notions pages. The icon that appears will show whether it's a hosted document or a link.

Employee's will be able to see company documents within their own profile under Documents.


Editing a company document

You can edit document's name and Issue date with these steps:

  • In the Home menu, click Settings, then click Documents.

  • Under Shared company documents, find the desired document and then click the ... on the right-hand side of the document, then click Edit.

  • The Edit document window will appear, where you can edit the name and issue date of the document.

As a note, you cannot edit the document file/link itself. Instead, Add a new document and consider deleting this version.


Deleting a company document

You can delete a shared document by following these steps:

  • In the Home menu, click Settings, then click Documents.

  • Under Shared company documents, find the desired document and then click the ... on the right-hand side of the document, then click Delete.

  • The Delete document window will appear, asking if you'd like to delete this document. Once you are sure, click Confirm and delete the document.
