As part of our goals, we're committed to providing a high level of flexibility to support all company set ups. Configurable working days allow you to set a custom working schedule for employees. It supports any combination of days to allow configuring part time workers, MENA workers and so on. Once a custom working schedule is configured, this gets taken into account when booking time off and the non-working days don’t get deducted.
To configure go to an employees Profile > Employment and Edit details.
In the edit section you will have a modal to select which days will count as working days.
For example if we set Working days to Monday, Wednesday and Friday:
Now when employees on this schedule go to book these days will be greyed out and not be deducted from their PTO balance when booked.
Note: This is reliant on PTO settings being set not to Bypass working schedule. For employees that are on a reduced working week it is recommended to set up a prorated PTO policy for them.
