Verifying a sender email address

Verified sender emails can be used as Sender addresses for automated emails and forms sent through Workflows.

Before you begin

  • Only users with Owner permissions can verify sender email addresses.

  • After verifying a sender email, please review our DNS Setup guide to ensure that Humaans can send emails on your behalf.

  • You can only add email addresses using the same custom domain as that used for your Humaans account.

  • You can remove unused email addresses by archiving them.

Verifying a sender email address

To verify a sender email address, follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings in the left-side menu, followed by Sender emails.

  2. Click Add email.

  3. Type the name of the person and address associated with the email.

  4. Click Confirm.

  5. Open your inbox and click the verification link in the email from Humaans.

  6. In Humaans, refresh the page. You should see that the email has verified.

Archiving a sender email address

If you want to remove an unused sender email from the list of addresses available in Workflows, you can archive it.

Archived emails can’t be selected when setting up a workflow template. However, they continue to work in active workflows that include them. To remove the archived email from existing workflows, manually remove it from each one.

To archive an unused sender email, follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings in the left-side menu, followed by Sender emails.

  2. Click the icon for the email address you’d like to archive.

  3. Click Archive.

Unarchiving a sender email

To unarchive an email address, follow these steps:

  1. Click Show archived.

  2. Click the icon beside the archived address.

  3. Click Unarchive.
