Editing a specific user's workflow

Updated yesterday

In some cases, you may need to manage certain tasks, assignments, sections or actions for a specific user within a Workflow. In this guide, you'll learn how this can be done.

Editing a user's workflow

After a workflow template has been assigned to a user, you can then go back and edit their specific workflow with the following steps:

  • In the Home menu, click Workflows, then click on the desired workflow.

  • Select the user within the workflow that you wish to edit.

  • Edit any tasks, sections or other actions as needed. Changes are saved automatically.

  • When you're ready, click Leave.

Cancelling tasks and emails

When editing a user’s workflow, you can cancel individual tasks, emails, or entire actions that are no longer needed for that user.

To cancel a task or email:

  • Click the ... menu on the task or email you wish to cancel.

  • Select Cancel task or Cancel email.

  • To cancel all tasks in an action at once, select Cancel all tasks from the action menu.

To restore a cancelled item, click the ... menu on the cancelled task or email and select Restore task, Restore email, or Restore all tasks.

Note: Only tasks and emails with an upcoming or active status can be cancelled. Completed tasks cannot be cancelled.
