Below, I've included an explanation for any errors you may encounter with your Eventbrite Widgets. These errors are common, and if you discover an error not detailed below, please contact a member of our team.
Your Authentication Token is Invalid
Explanation: Authentication tokens are used to verify the identity of a user or a system. When you connect a tool (for example, Eventbrite or Google Analytics) to Hurree, you are issued a token that serves as proof of your identity every time you add a Datapoint from that tool. The token you've used to connect Hurree to Google Eventbrite is invalid, meaning it is either incorrect.
How to solve this problem: To fix this issue, you'll need to reauthenticate your connection to the tool. Your token is invalid, so you will need to verify your credentials within Eventbrite itself, i.e., update your password.
Couldn't find the requested resource, or it doesn't exist
Explanation: The resource you are trying to pull into Hurree from your Eventbrite account either doesn't exist or cannot be found. This may be a result of the resource being removed or being under restricted permissions.
How to solve this problem: You can visit your Eventbrite account to verify that the resource you are trying to import into Hurree is still available and check its permission levels. If you continue to experience issues, please get in touch with Hurree Support.
You do not have the authorisation to perform a specific action
Explanation: This error indicates that you do not have the necessary authorization to access the requested information.
How to solve this problem: To fix this issue, you'll need to contact the Admin of the Eventbrite account and ask them to update your permissions.
Resource Invalid
Explanation: Unfortunately, the resource you are trying to access using Hurree is invalid. This may be because information has been deleted, or you may not have the correct permissions to access a specific account.
How to solve this problem: If you encounter this error, we recommend checking the associated Eventbrite account to ensure the information you are trying to access hasn't been deleted or archived. You should also be able to verify your account details to make sure you have the necessary permissions.
Eventbrite Internal Error
Explanation: In some instances, QuickBooks' internal server will experience an error, which means that Hurree can't fetch the data you requested at that specific time.
How to solve this problem: These kinds of errors are not uncommon, and unfortunately, they are out of our control. The only way to resolve this issue is to wait until the next sync period. If you still encounter the same error after the next sync period, please get in touch with Hurree support.
⚠️ Note: This article is intended only for Hurree users troubleshooting Eventbrite Widgets errors within the Hurree platform. If you're seeing Eventbrite errors outside of Hurree, please visit Eventbrite Help.
