Personal identifiable information (PII) is data that can be used to identify, locate, or contact a specific individual. PII includes names, birth dates, addresses, social security numbers, phone numbers and other data that is used to distinguish or identify an individual. The more of your PII that is publicly exposed, the easier it is for hackers to steal your identity and impersonate you online.
