Notifications and How to Customize Them

This is where you can edit the notification settings for the entire CRM.

In HVAC Quote, you can configure your notification settings to ensure you and your team stay updated about important events, such as new messages, appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and new leads.

Here’s how you can customize your notification settings:

Step 1: Access the Notification Settings

  1. Log into Your HVAC Quote Account:

    • Open your HVAC Quote dashboard.

    • In the left-hand navigation, click on Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to the Notifications Section

  1. Click on the "Notifications" Tab:

    • In the Settings page, find the Notifications tab and click on it. This is where you can manage and customize your notification settings.

Step 3: Customize Notification Preferences

  1. Choose Which Notifications to Enable:

    • You'll see several notification options, such as:

      • Message Received: Get notified when you receive a new message.

      • Appointment Reminder: Get reminders about upcoming appointments.

      • Booking Confirmation: Receive notifications when a booking is confirmed.

      • New Lead: Get notified when a new lead is created.

  2. Enable/Disable Notifications:

    • Each notification has a toggle next to it. To enable or disable a notification, simply click on the toggle. If it’s blue, it’s enabled; if it’s gray, it’s disabled.

Step 4: Select Recipients for Notifications

  1. Choose Who Will Receive Notifications:

    • For each notification type, you can choose the recipient(s). Click on the Recipients dropdown next to each notification to select the team members who should receive these updates.

  2. Add New Recipients:

    • If you want to add a new recipient, click on the dropdown and select the relevant team members from the list. If a recipient is not listed, make sure they have been added as a user under the Team Members section first.

Step 5: Save Your Settings

  1. Save Customization:

    • Once you have configured your notifications and selected the recipients, make sure to click Save or confirm the settings to ensure your changes are applied.


With these steps, you can easily customize your notification settings to ensure you and your team are always informed about important actions, without being overwhelmed by unnecessary alerts.
