Customizing pricing for each HVAC system type and size ensures that your quotes are accurate and reflect the pricing structure for your services. Follow the steps below to configure the pricing for each HVAC system within HVAC Quote.

Step 1: Access Pricing Configuration Settings

  1. Log into Your HVAC Quote Account:

    • Open your HVAC Quote dashboard.

    • In the left-hand navigation panel, click on Settings.

  2. Navigate to Pricing Configuration:

    • In the Settings page, click on Pricing Configuration. This is where you can adjust the prices for each system type, size, and efficiency.

Step 2: Configure System Pricing

  1. Select the System Type:

    • In the Pricing Configuration section, you'll see tabs for different system types, such as:

      • Split System

      • Mini Split

      • Packaged System

  2. Set Prices for Each System Size:

    • For each system type, you can define prices based on the system size.

    • Under the System Sizes section, you’ll enter the base price for each unit (e.g., 1.5 Ton, 2 Ton, etc.).

Step 3: Set Efficiency Multipliers

  1. Enter Multipliers for Efficiency Levels:

    • For each system type, you can define multipliers based on the efficiency level of the system. These multipliers adjust the base price based on the system’s efficiency, such as:

      • Standard Efficiency: Enter the base multiplier, typically "1".

      • High Efficiency: Enter the multiplier (e.g., 1.2).

      • Premium Efficiency: Enter the multiplier (e.g., 1.4).

  2. Price Range Percentage:

    • You can set a Price Range Percentage, which adjusts the price based on a defined range. For example, if the base price is $1000 and the range is 10%, the price will be adjusted to $1100.

Step 4: Multi-Unit Pricing

  1. Set Multi-Unit Pricing:

    • In the Multi-Unit Pricing section, you can define a multiplier for additional units if you’re quoting for more than one unit.

    • For example, if the Additional Unit Multiplier is set to 0.8, additional units will be priced at 80% of the base price, providing a discount for multiple units.

Step 5: Save Your Pricing Configuration

Once you have entered all pricing details, click Save to apply your changes. These settings will now be used to generate accurate quotes for your HVAC systems.
