HWPO HYROX: SCHEDULING AND RESTARTING

When you want to start training, open HWPO HYROX in the HWPO Training app and you’ll be met with a welcome screen explaining how to get started. Here’s a summary of the next steps:

SCHEDULE YOUR START

You should start training exactly eight weeks before your race day. For example, if your race is in 10 weeks on a Saturday, begin training in two weeks, starting on the Monday. Day 1 should always be a Monday — this ensures you peak at the right time for race day.

For example, if you’re racing HYROX Chicago in November 2025:

RACE DAY

START DAY 1

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

If the day you purchased this program doesn’t line up with your ideal training start date, you’ll need to reschedule it. Here’s how:

/01 On the day you want to start training, head to the app and open HYROX, then tap the calendar icon

/02 Input the number ‘1’ in the DAY entry box

/03 Refresh your app

/04 Select your preferred track

SELECTING YOUR TRACK

You’ve got two options for HYROX training: choose 5x/week for full-volume prep, or 2x/week for a lower-frequency option that supplements your existing training routine. Here’s how to select your track:

/01 Navigate to your HYROX program

/02 Tap the drop-down arrow at the top

/03 Select your preferred track

You can repeat and re-use your HYROX race prep track at any time by simply rescheduling your Day 1 to align with your next race. We recommend updating your PRs in the app so your training progressions are updated, and following one of our other programs year-round to stay in great condition.
