Before using your Hydra Rinse system for the first time, we recommend performing a break-in procedure on the Pro-Control Module to purge it of any air trapped inside. To do this, you will be performing two self-clean cycles on the Pro-Control Module, this process will not take more than 2 minutes to complete.

  1. Ensure 3 C-cell batteries have been installed, manifold assembly has been connected, and a water supply has been connected to the proper water source.

  2. Ensure chemical cups are empty and on securely.

  3. Connect water supply to the Pro-Control slowly.

  4. Hold Pro-Control upside down and level over a bucket or sink to catch the water.

  5. Initiate a self-clean cycle by pressing and holding the “Play/Pause” and “One Touch” buttons simultaneously, the control will beep and self-clean will start.

  6. Water will flow from the manifold for 10secs, pause for 5secs, then flow again for 10secs.This completes the self-clean cycle; the LED’s will turn off and the Pro-Control will go back to sleep.

  7. While still holding upside down, disconnect the water supply.

  8. Initiate a second self-clean cycle without the water connected, holding the Pro-Control upside down.

  9. This completes the break-in procedure.Your Hydra Rinse system is now ready to use.

Note: If when connecting the water supply, you hear water running; simply press the “Reset” button and perform this break-in procedure again.
