Repeats | Choose how the repeating task recurs:
On a schedule
On an event
|
Connect to an integration | If you want to create tasks in a third-party system linked to Hyperproof tasks, select the integration here. Supported task integration systems include Asana, ServiceNow, and Jira. Note: If this is the first time that the organizer will be associated with an external integration, you will be asked to enter their credentials. You can also ask the organizer to create a single integrated task and enter their credentials there to establish the connection before you create the repeating task.
See Integrations for more information on configuring task integrations. |
When creating a repeating task, keep in mind the following:
You can turn a regular task into a repeating task. See Work items: Repeating tasks and Creating a repeating task from a regular task.
To add an attachment to a repeating task, save the repeating task first, then open it to add the attachment. See Linking an attachment to a repeating task.
Email notifications are not sent if the individual creating the task is also the assignee. If the assignee differs from the individual who created the task, the assignee receives an email notification that they've been assigned a task.
Proof can't be linked until the task is created from the repeating task. When proof is uploaded, it's linked to the task and is visible in the task's proof area. The proof remains linked to the task until the task is submitted and closed. Note that if there are several pieces of proof linked to the task, you may need to use the scroll bar to view all of the proof.
When a task is closed, the proof can be found in the task's proof area, the linked object's Proof tab (e.g., the Proof tab of a control), and the organization's main proof list. This activity can be observed in the task's Activity Feed.
By design, if a task assignee changes a task from Not started to In progress, the task status still shows Submit. The Activity Feed shows the actual status of In progress.
