Release Notes - 2026-JUL-29

Hyperproof release notes

Note: These features, updates, and addressed issues are released first in Hyperproof US and Hyperproof EU on the date noted in the title. They are released in Hyperproof Gov one week later.

Improved

Expanded notification settings

Notification settings now allow greater control and schedule customization.

  • Refined Settings interface: Enjoy a cleaner, more intuitive experience for managing your notification preferences. User-level settings have been restructured to map more clearly across various Hyperproof modules.

  • Organization-level notification controls: A new Organization tab has been added to Notification Settings, visible exclusively to administrators and system admins:

    • Disable all notifications: Administrators can now disable all email notifications across the entire organization. Standard users see a clear indicator in the Settings > Notifications window if organization-wide emails have been turned off.

    • Configurable due date reminders: Administrators can now customize due date reminder cadences, including options for before, after, and same-day alerts or disabling reminders entirely.

Note: Hyperproof’s default reminder schedules are pre-populated in this section to ensure uninterrupted functionality.

Proof preview

  • Added support for the .json file type to the proof viewer.

Hypersyncs and integrations

  • New! Hypersync for Okta proof type: Network Zones - Enumerates all Dynamic Network Zones (blocklist and policy) with per-country rows, making geo-blocking controls directly testable in Hyperproof.

  • Updated! Hypersync for Microsoft Entra ID: Now supports connections to Azure Government to retrieve proof types from this environment.

  • Updated! Hypersync for Microsoft Azure: Now supports connections to Azure Government to retrieve proof types from this environment.

Note: Azure Government connections for Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Azure are not supported at this time in Hyperproof Gov organizations.

Addressed issues

  • Fixed an issue in the Audits module where long audit names were truncated without displaying a tooltip when hovering over overflow ellipses. (Case # 000012088)

  • Fixed an issue in the Hypersync for CrowdStrike List of Hosts proof type where host policy properties were not processed correctly, resulting in blank records. (Case # 000012243)

  • Fixed an issue in the Proof module where system administrators were prevented from deleting linked proof files. (Case # 000012272)

  • Fixed an issue in the Audits module where administrators were unable to provide updated proof versions for audit requests if the update was uploaded by a compliance manager. (Case # 000012295)

  • Fixed an issue in SharePoint integrations where transient network errors during folder retrieval caused proof selection window errors by adding a Retry button, allowing the user to try again. (Case # 00012167, 00012247, 00012372)

  • Fixed an issue in People settings where bulk deactivating users and reassigning ownership failed if the user was assigned to archived controls. (Case # 00012227)

  • Fixed an issue in organization invitations where confirmation emails sent after a new user accepted an invitation displayed a default placeholder name instead of the user's actual name. (Case # 000012343)

  • Fixed an issue in the Risks module where risk intake survey submissions failed when filled out by external contacts. (Case # 00012353)

  • Fixed an issue where the Hypersync for Microsoft Defender OAuth connections without token validation rules displayed an internal unhandled error when Hyperproof checked the connection health. (Case # 000012362)

  • Fixed an issue in the Tasks module where adding approval workflows to tasks already in the Submitted status caused approvals to remain stuck in a pending state. (Case # 000012119)

  • Fixed an issue in SharePoint integrations where the list of subsite folders was truncated in the proof selection view. (Case # 00012254)

  • Fixed an issue in the Hypersync for CrowdStrike where credential validation incorrectly rejected valid regional settings. (Case # 00012373)

  • Fixed an issue when creating custom fields, where making a custom field required caused the field creation process to time out. (Case # 00012375)

  • Fixed an issue in the Audits module where selecting all items in list views displayed an inaccurate count of selected records. (Case # 000012261

  • Fixed an issue in SharePoint integrations where retrieving large site libraries caused slow performance when opening the proof selection view. Sites are now loaded as they are retrieved. The Other sites folder is now always displayed. Note that more subsites may be displayed after this fix. (Case # 00012372)

  • Fixed an issue with importing controls where an organization with hierarchical scopes allowed a user to import legacy scopes into Hyperproof, causing control health status to recalculate incorrectly. (Case # 00012149)

  • Fixed an issue in the Hyperproof CLI where custom application uploads failed due to file size restrictions by increasing the maximum file size from 300KB to 1MB. (Case # 00012442)

  • Fixed an issue in the Controls module where Limited Access Users could not view expanded scoped controls they were explicitly assigned to. (Case # 00012421)

  • Fixed an issue in User Access Reviews where launching reviews created tasks without attaching corresponding Jira or Asana tickets. (Case # 00012431)

  • .. plus other fit and finish, performance, stability, and security issues — as always!
