Release Notes - 2026-SEP-10

Hyperproof release notes.

Note: These features, updates, and addressed issues are released first in Hyperproof US and Hyperproof EU on the date noted in the title. They are released in Hyperproof Gov one week later unless otherwise noted.

Added / Improved

Bulk archive Issues

  • Added support for bulk archiving multiple issues from the issues grid view.

Bulk edit repetition schedule on Repeating Tasks

  • In the Work Items > Repeating Task grid, you can now select multiple repeating tasks and update the schedule they repeat on, including the start date for the next task.

  • If you set a start date of today or earlier, the selected repeating tasks create their next task right away. For repeating tasks that sync with an external system (Jira, Asana, ServiceNow), each task also creates a ticket there immediately, so a single bulk edit can create up to 50 tickets. Repeating tasks without integration has no limit.

Grid view, sorting, and filtering on Assessments

  • The Assessments page now matches Audits, complete with a grid view, sortable columns, bulk membership editing, and filtering.

Addressed issues

  • Fixed an issue in the Audits module where open tasks were not automatically canceled when the parent audit request was archived, preventing users from updating task statuses. (Case # 00012495)

  • Fixed an issue where the columns on the Audits Grid view were not resizable. (Case # 00012561)

  • Fixed an issue in the Proof module where AI proof summaries were displayed to users who lacked permissions to view the underlying proof. (Case # 00012564)

  • Fixed an issue on request details pages where linked issues were hidden from users who were assigned to the request but not explicitly assigned to the issue. (Case # 00012576)

  • Fixed an issue in user invitations where re-invited users who previously existed in another organization were directed to a password sign-in prompt instead of the password creation flow, causing account lockouts and preventing users from accepting organization invitations.

  • Fixed an issue with event-based task triggers where custom field updates on scoped controls failed to generate automated tasks in organizations using scopes. The feature worked correctly for hierarchical scopes.(Case # 00012602)

  • Fixed an issue in activity feeds where typing an @mention failed to suggest users assigned to an audit facepile via a group. (Case # 00012609)

  • Fixed an issue where approvals displayed in Card view but not in Grid view on the Work items > Approvals tab. (Case # 00012613)

  • Fixed an issue with the Confluence LiveSync where attempting to view or synchronize proof documents resulted in unexpected errors. (Case # 00012614, 00012632)

  • Fixed an issue in the Work Items module where loading the Repeating Tasks tab caused request timeouts and page loading failures. (Case # 00012628)

  • Fixed an issue in the Controls module where saving changes or updating custom field values on controls resulted in an unexpected error.

  • Fixed an issue in the Overview module where the Automated Tests widget displayed failed test counts for controls that the user did not have permission to view. (Case # 00012631)

  • .. plus other fit and finish, performance, stability, and security issues — as always!
