How to Add or Edit Products

Need to add a new item or update an existing one? Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to manage your products — whether they’re Merchandise or Food & Beverage.

🧭 Getting Started

You can access product management by going to:
​Dashboard → Products → Add Product
or
​Dashboard → Products → Edit Product (for existing items).

This opens the product editor screen (like the one below 👇).

✏️ Step 1: Enter Basic Details

Fill in the key information about your product:

Field

Description

Product Name*

The name of the product (e.g. Hat, Latte, T-Shirt).

Category*

Choose Merchandise or Food & Beverage.

Subcategory

Select the specific type (e.g. Cap, Coffee, Snack).

Base Price ($)*

Enter the default price per unit.

Base Quantity*

Set the available stock count.

Description

Add a short description (e.g. “Get the limited edition rave beanies!”).

💡 Tip: Use clear, concise names and descriptions so customers can easily find what they’re looking for.

🖼️ Step 2: Upload Product Images

  1. Click Choose Files or Drag & Drop an image into the upload area.

  2. You can upload multiple images to showcase your product.

  3. Uploaded images will appear as thumbnails for preview.

✨ Pro tip: Use well-lit, high-resolution images for best results!

🧩 Step 3: Add Product Variants

Variants let you offer options like size, flavor, or pack type.

Here’s how:

  1. Click the Variant Type dropdown (e.g. Size).

  2. Add options like Small, Medium, Large, etc.

  3. Each variant automatically generates a unique SKU.

  4. Use the ✅ and ❌ icons to save or remove variants.

💾 Step 4: Save or Update Your Product

Once you’ve filled in all fields and added your variants:

  • Click Save Product (for new products), or

  • Click Update Product (to apply changes to an existing one).

✅ Your product will now appear in your product list and will be available for orders or display.

🍔 Product Types Overview

🧢 Merchandise

For physical, non-edible products such as:

  • T-shirts

  • Hoodies

  • Hats

  • Keychains

These often use size or color variants.

☕ Food & Beverage

For consumable items like:

  • Coffee & Tea

  • Smoothies

  • Sandwiches

  • Snacks

These may use flavor, portion, or combo variants.

🔧 Editing an Existing Product

To make changes later:

  1. Go to Products → Edit.

  2. Adjust any field — name, price, description, or variants.

  3. Click Update Product to save your edits.

Changes are applied instantly and reflected in your catalog.

​Category: Merchandise
​Subcategory: Cap
​Base Price: $10
​Base Quantity: 1514
​Description: Get the limited edition rave beanies!
​Variants: Small / Medium / Large (auto-generated SKUs)
