Important Note for i360 Text:
As of July 5, 2023, customers must register to ensure successful text delivery. Failure to register may result in decreased deliverability. Standard messaging rates still apply. Find out more here. Get registered here.
Contacts Management is a customer relationship management system (CRM) that allows you to individually look up, view data, apply tags, and contact records at the individual level.
Access Contacts Management
Contacts Management can be accessed from the sidebar panel by hovering over Contacts and selecting Management.
Access Text
Text is accessible from both the Contacts Grid, as well as through an individual profile. If accessing from Contacts Management, be sure to check the box next to the individual(s) you would like to send a text to. Refer to the bottom right of the screen and click the message bubble to open the text sidebar.
You can also contact at an individual level by double-clicking the user profile and accessing the buttons directly from there. Please note that an individual must have a cell phone number attached to their profile to use this feature.
Send Texts
Texts are able to be sent directly to users with a phone number under their profile marked as 'cell'. Type out your message in the gray box and click 'Send'. As individuals respond, you will receive a Portal notification and their messages will appear in the chain. You can refer back to these conversations at any time.
The small blue arrows next to the name and phone number allow you to attach certain tags as a shortcut. Mark a number as 'Wrong Number', 'Do Not Contact', or 'Opt-In' (as a carrier precaution) to allow for future contact.
Wrong Number: The number and name are not correctly associated.
Do Not Contact: This person will be marked 'DNC' as they wish not to be contacted.
Opt In: This person has consented to receive messages; this will improve
deliverability. DO NOT mark this option if a person has not communicated that they opt in.
Automatic Number Purchase
If you are using the call or text features in Contacts > Management, your account will automatically purchase a number based on user's primary cell phone area code when possible. This is designed so all calling and texting from your user account comes from a consistent source for the recipient and helps you stay on top of conversations. Calls to this number will also forward to the primary number in your account.
You are not taking on an additional fee for this feature. The email you receive is simply to notify you of the number.
