Daily Toplines

The Daily Toplines dashboard offers a way to visualize your grassroots efforts, by focusing on frequent data refreshes throughout the day. This dashboard resets every night, so you can expect most early mornings to not display any activity.

Accessing Daily Toplines

Dashboards can be accessed from Analytics > Dashboards. From the drop-down menu, please select Daily Toplines.

Tracking Toplines Activity

Daily Toplines displays all walk and call activity for the current day, with a refresh rate every 15 - 45 minutes. At 12am EST, the dashboard resets for the new day. Historic data can be found using the Grassroots View dashboard.

Tracked fields on this dashboard include volunteer attempts and takes for calls and households. In general, you'll be able to see how many doors your campaign is knocking each hour and how many people you're actually reaching.

Refresh and Download

If you're seeing that results haven't updated in a while, refer to the 'Refresh' option toward the top left of the dashboard to reset the page. Please contact us at Support if you're not seeing any updates for several hours.

Use the 'Download' option to retrieve an Image, Data, Crosstab, PDF, or Powerpoint version of the dashboard.

What is Null?

If you are making calls, you may notice the word Null in your dashboard. The Null Coordinator appears for call attempts where the Predictive Dialer was unsuccessful in making a call. As the Predictive Dialer cycles through numbers, it will not be able to connect to all lines. Because no volunteer is associated with the call, the call is reported under Null.

Short answer: Null means "No Answer."
