Volunteer Permissions

After you create a volunteer in Contacts Management, you will need to assign permissions to that volunteer's account to enable access to features such as texting or voter look-up.

To open up the account, search for the volunteer in Contacts > Management and double-click on the name. Once there, click on 'Volunteer Permissions' and then '+Add/Edit'.

If you want to add all permissions to the volunteer click 'Toggle all volunteer permissions for the user'.

To define Volunteer Permissions, you can hover over any of the specific permissions and refer to the tool tip (i).

Volunteer: Voter Look Up: Allows a volunteer using the i360 Walk app to look up specific voters.Volunteer: Voter Look Up - Party Reg: Allows a volunteer using the i360 Walk app to view a Contact's Party Registration details.Volunteer: Voter Update: Allows a volunteer using the i360 Walk app to make updates to a Contact.

​Texting: P2P: Send Action: Allow users to send P2P texts from Texting Actions page.

​Texting: P2P: Reply to Responses: Allows users to reply to P2P responses on Texting Responses page.
​
​Texting: P2P: Update Outgoing Action Message: Allows the users to update action messages.
​
​Texting: P2P: Target Information: Allows the users to view personal information about a target.
​
​Texting: P2P: Target Message History: Allows users to view target message history.
​
​Texting: P2P: View Target Tags: Allows users to view target tags.
​
​Texting: P2P: Can View Responses: Allows users to view replies to messages.
​
​Texting: P2P: View Send Action: Allows users to view send messages.
​

Note: Voter Lookup and Voter Update are permissions you will only want to give to trusted volunteers because it will allow them to look up anyone in your database and edit their record.
