Unlock Accounts

If a user or volunteer fails to enter a correct password three consecutive times, their account may get locked. This action is set to protect accounts in case of malicious activity but can be unlocked by users in cases where it is needed.

Unlocking Accounts

To unlock an account, start by accessing Contacts > Management in the left sidebar.

Use the search function above the contacts name to find the volunteers whose account has been locked out.

Double-click on the volunteer's name to open up their contact page. You can confirm that their account is locked out by seeing the words 'Locked Out' in the top left corner.

Refer to the action bar at the bottom of the volunteer's profile. Select 'Make' in the bottom of your screen and choose 'Volunteer Account Unlocked'.

If needed, use the 'Change Password' or 'Send Credentials' option to give the volunteer a new password or send their original credentials to their email.

What if my account is locked?

Please reach out to another administrative user in your organization to unlock your account, or contact Support for assistance.
