Installation
The last step of the setup is to embed the code on your webpage and to verify domain installation.
All you need to do is to copy the script we've generated for your Lift widget, and paste it inside the <header> tag of your webpage, preferably before the closing </header> tag.
If using a website builder (e.g.,WordPress, Webflow, or Wix), find the option to insert custom scripts and add the code there.
Pro tips
Lift widget for most website builders needs to be embedded as a custom HTML code and to be added to the header of the main website page, and not as header code often offered by webpage builders where you'll be adding Meta pixel and GTM codes for tracking purposes.
Additionally, after embedding the code and clicking on "Verify Installation" you may receive error message.
This may happen if you're website security settings are preventing iClosed to access and verify code installation, meaning, it doesn't necessarily means that Lift wasn't installed correctly.
If you're seeing Lift widget after publishing changes on your website, then it's all good.
If you're still not seeing Lift widget after publishing changes, try opening the page in Chrome Incognito or any other browser or reach out to us via in-app chat button at the bottom right of your screen to troubleshoot it for you.
Save & Make Live
Once all sections are completed, click "Save & Make Live" button. This final step activates your Lift widget on the designated site.
Finally, you can choose the language for static text that is appearing on widget:
Urgency message "Only few slots are left"
Static dates and times

Choose between all Lift languages on the top right of your Lift settings menu:
Lift Conversion Funnel - Analytics
Once your Lift goes live, you'll be able to track performance rate through Lift Conversion Funnel. Here's the information and options you'll find available on this page:
Impressions
Number of times the widget was triggered per unique visitor (per IP address).
Multiple page views by the same person count as one impression.
Click Through
Number of visitors who interacted with the widget. The higher click through indicates better engagement.
Conversion
Number of leads captured. More leads indicate higher conversion potential.
Pro tips
Click Through Rate is calculated = Click Through divided with Total number of impressions

Lift Best Practices
Here're few tips and tricks on how you can maximize Lift performance, while being able to track stats easier.
Event tied to Lift
Think about duplicating your main funnel event and setting a different color tag and internal description. If you connect different event with Lift specifically, you'll easier identify number of calls and team performance from main
Analytics page in iClosed.
Lift configuration tips
Make sure to exclude call confirmation page where leads will land after booking a call
If you have several pages on your website where leads may go to learn more about your offer/services, make sure to limit number of session pop ups for Lift so it doesn't become annoying (2-3 per session is considered enough).
for CTA button, make sure to use:
Primary CTA for event so the leads can book a call with your team
Secondary CTA for redirecting to results page or case studies so visitors can learn more about your offer before booking a call
In terms of the delay, it all depends on the webpage content where Lift is:
If you want your visitor to watch VSL, make sure to delay pop up
If they need time to go through your website content, also delay pop up
But the best answer lays in your website analytics - check what is the average time when visitors drop off your webpage, and set Lift to pop up 5-10 seconds before that average time
FAQs
How to embed different Lifts on different subpages
In case you want to create and set different LIFT widgets for different subpages (e.g. to have it in different languages) follow the steps below:
Before you start, ensure that there is no Lift created and embedded to the main website as usually instructed with standard use case when you want to use one Lift widget across all website pages.
Go to Lift settings in iClosed - create or edit lift for specific subpage
place subpage URL instead of the main page in Main domain setup
For example: https://mywebsite/fr/Copy code and place it only on the specific subpage header as a custom HTML code (not as tracking code)
Save and publish
Bear in mind that you wont be able to use same Lift on multiple subpages unless it's an extension of a subpage (e.g. https://mywebsite/fr/pricing)
Therefore, repeat the process for all other subpages where you want to create different Lift floating widgets.
Create Lift → add specific subpage URL → embed the code that you receive in Lift setup on the specific subpage header as a custom HTML code (not as tracking code).
Pro tips
WordPress - Instead of adding the lift script in the header for all pages, you have to add the script on each respective page. Install Code Snippet plugin and or use HTML in Elementor and add Lift script on the single page.
How to embed Lift on Framer
Framer webpage builder is the only one that will work by adding Lift widget code as header code as they already have Custom Code option for header. Follow these steps:

Paste Lift code to "End of <head> tag box and save settings
How to embed Lift on WordPress/Elementor

Navigate to iClosed Lift to copy the code that was generated for the Lift widget
Go to WordPress → main website page → Child theme → Header
Elements → HTML
Paste the code from iClosed
publish and see if it's showing in preview mode.
If its showing in preview mode but not in live on your website, it means some plugins are blocking it
It's usually a page optimizers, debugger or security plugin in Elementor that is blocking Lift from showing. Simply turn them off one by one until you see Lift showing on main website page
Also, make sure that you're accessing the webpage in Chrome Incognito mode or a different browser to ensure cache and cookies in your browser are not showing webpage properly.

How to embed two lifts on all webpages + the other one on the specific page
In case you'd like to have different Lift widgets, by having one main for your sales funnel for example, and the other for "careers" page, that will be a whole different event with your HR as host, you can do that by following next steps:
Create or edit main Lift widget that will be live on most of your website pages (e.g. Sales funnel pages)
Exclude specific page where you want different Lift to appear (e.g. careers page)
Embed the code as custom HTML code on the header of your main website
Save changes
Create additional Lift for specific subpage/s that should be tied with a different event (e.g. Careers page)
Make sure to set specific URL webpage in Main domain box
Additionally, include it on same webpage URL that you've set as Main domain and include any additional subpages of the same sub-domain
Save and copy the code
paste the code as custom HTML code on the header of the subpage
Save and publish changes
Do I need one Lift or two Lifts if I want to embed it on parent domain and sub-domain?
You would need to create two Lifts, and to configure them separately for each domain as per instructions above.
