To make it easier for you to connect Zoom instantly, you can integrate from:
AI Scheduler → Event creation when you select Zoom as Event Location
Important note
For events with Zoom as location of the call, every host will have to connect their own Zoom account in order to generate a meeting link for their scheduled call.
From Integrations page
To use Zoom as the Event Location, follow the steps as follows:
Go to Settings > Integrations, locate Zoom integrations and click on the "Connect" button
Sign in to Zoom window will appear
Sign in to your Zoom account
Mark the checkbox to Allow all permissions
Hit "Allow" button, and you're all set and ready
From Calendar Connections page
While you're on the Calendar, you can also connect your Zoom with your account so you could use it as the Event Location:
Scroll to the bottom of the Calendar page and click "Integrate Zoom" button
Sign in to Zoom window will appear
Type in user name or password to sign in, or simply use Google Sign In
Mark the checkbox to Allow all permissions
Hit "Allow" button, and you're all set
From Event Details → Event Location
While creating your event, if you select Zoom as the Event Location and you have not connected Zoom yet, you will be shown an error message with a button to connect Zoom.
Click "Connect Zoom" button
Sign in to Zoom window will appear
Type in user name or password to sign in, or simply use Google Sign In
Mark the checkbox to Allow all permissions
Hit "Allow" button, and you're all set and ready
Pro tips
Overriding Passcode in Zoom
In case you're having a problem with your leads needing to add a passcode to be able to access the Zoom call, simply turn off "Personal Meeting ID (PMI) Passcode" in Zoom settings.
This would help your leads access the call without any troubles and will prevent them messaging you asking for a passcode.
How to set up only one Zoom link, instead generated automatically by iClosed
Before we begin, we need to stress out that this is not recommendable, due to too many manual actions hosts would need to take, and due to potential missed calls in case all sections are not updated with every change made.
Here're steps for setting up this workaround:
1. Navigate to Events page, select event and update event location to zoom
2. Do not connect Zoom account, and save Event details
3. Update Notifications (all you're using)
- Make sure to remove Event Location
variable and
- to place your Zoom link manually instead
4. Save all changes
Once leads start to schedule calls, you'll see red badge showing "Action Required" for each call.
You will be able to remove it by clicking on every call and selecting "I have shared Zoom link with invitee"
