They’re separate products.
An Asset subscription (icons8.com/pricing) lets you download icons, illustrations, photos, and music from the website. It also gives you access to the MCP server for fetching icons through AI coding tools.
An API subscription (developers.icons8.com/pricing) gives you programmatic access to integrate Icons8 assets into your own software through the API. This is meant for developers building applications that serve icons to their users.
The two don’t overlap — an Icons subscription won’t give you an API key, and an API subscription won’t show up in your Icons8 account downloads.
