How to apply filters
Filters allow you to analyse your test results by focusing on specific respondent groups.
Filter by demographics or any test question
Your demographic and test filters are visible on the right-hand panel.
At a glance, you’ll see quick-access filters for:

Filtering Multi-Select Questions: What the 'tick' and the 'cross' mean
When a question lets respondents select more than one answer, you have two powerful ways to filter the results:
✔️ Ticked box – Includes everyone who selected this option.
→ Example: See results from anyone who chose “When I want to enjoy something with others.”❌ Crossed box – Excludes everyone who selected this option.
→ Example: See results from everyone except those who chose “When I want to enjoy something with others.”
This lets you quickly explore how different groups responded—and uncover insights that might otherwise be hidden.
Understanding sample sizes
As you apply filters, the sample size updates in real time to show how many respondents are included:
Warning at less than 50 respondents: You’ll see a notice to adjust filters if the sample size becomes too small for robust results.
Below 30 respondents: Filters must be modified or cleared to view data when the sample size drops below this threshold.
AI summaries and filters
Currently, AI Summaries on results pages do not dynamically update based on applied filters. Stay tuned for updates.
Save your filters
If you frequently use certain filters, save them as a Filter Set for easy access in future analyses.
