When you open the app you will be prompted to add your primary holding.

Add your primary holding with a herd/flock number (this is then applied automatically when creating new births in app).

​There are 2 types of holdings in the app.

My Holdings - This is for your primary holding and any other holdings or areas managed by you or within your business where you might keep your animals.

​Third Party Holdings - This is for holdings outside of your business that you might move animals off to for example livestock markets, buyers or slaughterhouses.
​
​Please note that animals on Third Party Holdings cannot have medicines applied until they are moved back to a My Holding. If you would like help navigating this for winter grazing we recommend adding the holding as a My Holding.

​If you are connecting to BCMS/CTS or ScotEID please ensure your primary holding is set to the same holding as your BCMS/CTS/ScotEID account as the holding numbers must match.

Step 1: Select Admin on the bottom menu, then select Holdings.

Step 2: The Holdings screen will now appear, you will see headings for My Holdings and Third Party

Step 3: Tap the blue + to add a new holding.

Step 4: Select the My Holding option at the top of the screen

​If this is your Primary Holding make sure you slide the Primary Holding option to ON (blue).

Step 5: A confirmation box will pop up - tap Confirm to set this as your Primary Holding or cancel if it is not the Primary.

Step 6: Complete the CPH Number.

If you selected Primary Holding, you will see fields to add your Herd Number and your Flock Number.

Add these details, and this will automatically add your herd/flock number to new lambs or calves added in app.

Finally, add the holding address and SAVE

Add any holdings outside your business, so they are ready to use in your movements process. For example markets you regularly sell through.

Step 1: Select Admin on the bottom menu, then select Holdings.

Step 2: The Holdings screen will now appear, you will see headings for My Holdings and Third Party

Step 3: Tap the blue + to add a new holding.

Step 4: At the top of the screen, select the 'Third Party' option.

Step 5: Add the CPH number, address and country information.

​Then SAVE

You'll now find this holding under Third Party when you action movements or view your holdings page.

Step 1: Select Admin on the bottom menu, then select Holdings.

Note: You can not delete your primary holding unless you switch your primary holding status to another holding.

You will be unable to delete any holdings that have animals allocated. These will need to be moved off first to another holding.

Step 2: Select My Holdings or Third Party to find the holding you want to delete.

Step 3: To delete an empty non-primary holding, Swipe right on the holding you want to delete and then tap the red Delete option to permanently delete the holding.

Step 1: Open the holding in Admin > Holdings and select Edit.

Step 2: Make any changes to the holding details.

Step 3: When all the changes are entered SAVE.
