Troubleshooting Setting Up an Experience via Calendar Invite

Please make sure you have included experience@immersion-event.com to your calendar (Outlook, iCal, Google) invite and that the event you created was at least 5 minutes or more before the scheduled start time.

When adding experience@immersion-event.com to an existing invite, make sure to also add something in the description, such as "adding Immersion", to help our system recognize that it should send Immersion invitations to all attendees added to the meeting.

When the invite is successfully created, you (as the creator) will receive an email confirmation. Any meeting invitees will also receive an invite from “Immersion Neuroscience” with the details needed to download the app and join the experience. Depending on email provider and settings, emails may be delivered to your Promotions or Spam. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check these folders. We also recommend letting attendees know to expect the email and marking the sender as safe.

If you decide to add more people after you have created the invite through your calendar (Outlook, iCal, Google) system, please make sure to update either the event title, time, or descriptor and select “Send” to ensure the updates are also initiated through our platform and new invites are sent.

Nerdy tip: If your meeting runs long and you want to continue to collect Immersion, just extend the time on your calendar before the meeting is over, and it will also extend the Immersion measurement time.
