Setting up your Fitbit for the first time:
To start, find the email invite you were sent from Immersion Neuroscience (or find the Immersion mobile app from the app store). From the email, click on "Accept Invitation" to get redirected to the Immersion mobile app.
Download the Immersion Mobile App.
Open the Immersion app and sign up, then choose your device (Versa/Versa 2 or Versa 3/Sense).
Next, follow the instructions on the following page. Copy the pairing code and use the link to install the Immersion app on your Fitbit. In your browser, tap “Open App”. Continue and install the Fitbit mobile app as prompted.
Tap “Proceed” when notified that the app is private. Give permissions for the app to have access to heart rate, internet, and more. Click “Select All” and then “Proceed”. Then, tap on "Settings" and click “Pairing Code”.
Paste the previously copied pairing code from the Immersion app and click “Save”.
Then tap “Back” until you land on this page:
Scroll to the bottom and tap on “Sync Now” to sync your watch to the Fitbit app.
Congratulations! You are set to start an experience now!
Still having trouble?
On your mobile device, first, tap on your Fitbit App. Then, click your account on the upper left corner of the app. Tap on your smartwatch device and tap on “Apps” to be directed to Fitbit’s app page. Once there, tap on the “Immersion Mobile” app. Hit “permissions” and select “Toggle All” to enable access to all necessary data. Re-sync your Fitbit to the Fitbit app to make sure there is a good Bluetooth connection. Or, pull down from the top of the Fitbit app and refresh to sync automatically.
