Troubleshooting Apple Watch Pairing Loop

Do you have trouble connecting your Apple Watch to the Immersion app? Get some answers here.

If you encounter any issues when attempting to pair your watch to the Immersion app, please follow the instructions below as the issues may be tied to a recent Apple software update.

  1. Delete the Immersion Mobile app from your phone

  2. Verify that the app has also been removed from your watch

  3. Reboot your phone

  4. Reboot your watch and do NOT come back to your watch until step 11

  5. On your phone, re-install the Immersion Mobile app

  6. On your phone, go to the Watch app and scroll down to the section 'Installed on Apple Watch' to confirm Immersion has been successfully downloaded to your watch.

  7. Open the Immersion app on your phone

  8. Sign in to your account

  9. Select Apple Watch when prompted

  10. Allow all health permissions when prompted

  11. Now, open the Immersion app on your watch and select 'Pair Watch to App.

  12. You are now set to start collecting data! Click 'Start Data Collection' to get started
