Thanks so much for participating in an Immersion-measured experience! If you logged into the app using your email, you will be emailed your results once you've completed the experience. If you do not receive your results via email, no worries - you can easily find your results in your app as well.

Simply click on the 'Completed' icon at the bottom of the app, and you'll see tiles you can click into to see your own personal results and how your scores compare to the average for others measured in the experience (see example below).

Now that you have your results, you're probably wondering what in the world it all means!!! Well, you're in the right place. Both our measures - Immersion & Safety - range from 1-100 with higher numbers representing higher levels of each. The output is color-coded as low (red), average (grey), and high (green). Check out more details below:

Immersion

Our measure of Immersion quantifies the extent to which your brain is connected to and getting value from an experience. Higher numbers mean your brain was more "WOW-ed" by an experience - in other words, it was captivating and absorbing information. In fact, we've shown when experiences are more immersive, the information shared is more likely to be stored to long-term memory.

Why does this matter to you? Because when you're more immersed, you're also more likely to be having a generally positive experience, and we all want more of those - right?! That's exactly why our customers measure your immersion - so they can make more positive experiences for people like YOU!

What we think is super nifty are cases when your brain really connected with something you weren't even aware it was tickled by (or in other cases, when it checked out despite the fact that you felt you "liked it")!

Safety

Our measure of Safety quantifies the extent to which you felt psychologically safe in an experience. Psychological safety is a well-known concept that represents feeling comfortable, confident, and ready to absorb and share information in various situations. An easy way to understand this is to think of it as the opposite of anxiety - when Safety is high, anxiety is low.

Why does this matter to you? Because when you're high in Psychological Safety, you're in a generally better state of mind to operate in a productive and meaningful way - plus, who doesn't want to have less anxiety?! What's even more interesting is that Google's Project Aristotle found Psychological Safety is the number one predictor of team success! Check out this nifty article that describes the study!

Not seeing a Safety score? That's probably because the experience you participated in was less than 2-minutes in length. Psychological safety is a slower-moving brain state than Immersion, so we need a little more data in order to output this measure.
