If you haven't setup your Imonggo POS for iPad yet, please see our article on getting started with Imonggo for iPad. Sign up for an Imonggo account here.

Tax Settings:

VAT-Registered

  1. On Imonggo iPad, go to the Office

  2. Go to your Settings

  3. Go to Tax Rate

  4. Set tax type to Compute Tax

  5. Enable Tax Inclusive

  6. Set your tax rate. In the example below, below is 12% so it's set to .12

In your Store, check to see if there's an amount that appears under Tax. If there is, then your settings are correct.

Non-VAT

  1. Set the tax type to Tax Exempt.

  2. You can also set specific products to be exempted from tax by going to the Stockroom and editing the product.

Zero-Rated

  1. Set tax type to Zero Rated

Local Tax

  1. Set the tax type to Compute Tax, same settings as VAT-Registered.

  2. Edit the Local Tax Rate and input the required tax rate.

In your Store, check to see if there's Local Tax in the computation. If there is, then your settings are correct.
