A developer account is required in order to submit a Roku app to the marketplace. This article will walk you through creating a Roku Developer Account and joining the Roku Billing Program.
IMPORTANT: If you want to publish your ROKU app under your account, you must have a ROKU device that you will need to link to your account.
Below is the manual on how to do it, but if for some reason you can not do it, then we can publish your ROKU app under our account, so if you want us to do so, please let us know via email to support@impactfactors.net.
Next, click Create Account on the right to get started.
Step 1: Create a Roku Account
Enter the following fields to begin the account creation process:
First Name
Last Name
Email
Password
Date of birth
Gender
Check to agree to the Terms and Conditions & Privacy Policy.
Select "Continue" to proceed.
Step 2: Create a PIN
Create a Personal Identification Number (PIN) and choose when the PIN is required to be entered.
Select "Continue" to proceed.
Step 3: Payment Information
Add payment method and billing address information.
Select "Save" to finish creating your Roku Developer Account.
Congratulations! You have successfully created a Roku Developer Account. Continue reading to enroll in the Developer and Partner Payouts programs.
Step 4: Developer Program Enrollment
Navigate to Roku's developer program enrollment and enter the below information to complete the registration form.

Step 5: Partner Payouts Enrollment
In order to receive payments from advertising and/or native subscriptions and purchases, you are required to join Roku's Partner Payouts program. Once you have read and reviewed the terms of the program, click I agree to complete enrollment.
Once you've completed Roku's Partner Payouts Program steps, you'll get an email from Roku reminding you to send a copy of your W-9 or W-8BEN Form to enrollment@roku.com.
Congratulations! You've successfully created a Roku Developer Account and have joined Roku's Partner Payouts Program.
Step 6: Link Roku device
You need to link one or more devices to your account before uploading a package.
Power up your Roku device and complete the basic setup.
Link Roku device to your network.
Update your Roku software.
Note down the Roku activation code displayed on screen.
Visit my.roku.com/link and enter the activation code for Roku.
Step 7: Adding an Administrator
On the Developer Dashboard home page, under the My Account Info category select option Manage User Access
As long as a particular developer account has not granted access to any other account, the blue, Add a user button will be the only functional option on the Manage User Access page.
Add a user button may be employed to empower another developer
An Administrator/owner can empower another developer immediately: just click the Create button after setting the several parameters that are described below:
