Here at ImpactClub®, we use Facebook Workplace (also referred to as FBWP) as our platform for the StoryAthlete™ community. Because Workplace is a unique platform, we have already set up an account for you. Now, all you need to do is follow the instructions below to claim that account.
What You'll Need to Claim Your Account
Access Code
After signing up to be part of the StoryAthlete™ community you should have received an email from our Support Team. In this email, you would have been given a 16 digit access code. This code is used in place of an email address to access an already existing account. In a one-time access code and once it has been used it cannot be used again.
Desktop Computer
To minimize any issues when claiming your account for the first time, you will need to do so from a desktop computer. This makes it a much easier process. Do not attempt to claim your account for the first time through the mobile app or browser on your mobile device.
How to Claim Your Account
Bookmark this page. This is the login page for Facebook Workplace.
On the login screen, click or tap Create account with Access Code.
Enter the 16-character access code you were provided.
Set a unique username and password; you'll now use it to log in to Workplace. Once this is set, you'll now have access to the Workplace.
Write down and or save your username and password.
If you are having trouble logging in, entered an email address or Workplace has asked you to create a new account, head over to our FAQ page to troubleshoot the issue. If you don't find what you're looking for there, be sure to visit the Facebook Workplace Help Center.
Once You're Inside
Once you're inside you should have access to all the Groups included in your membership including the knowledge library and the ability to "chat".
Download the Workplace Apps on Your Mobile Device
Now that you're all set up, you will want to download the mobile apps on your device from the app store. Facebook Workplace has two different mobile apps.
One app is for your account where you will see your timeline, and member posts, and have access to all your groups. The other is the Workplace chat app where you can message members. You will need to download both of them.
Once you have downloaded the apps you will need to Login with the username and password you chose when you initially claimed the account.
Logging Into The App
To login to your account via the Workplace app you will need to log in using the username and password you previously setup.
When logging in you will need to make sure you click on the "login with username" link found on the next screen after you select "Login" from the main screen of the app. From there you will enter your username.

The access code you previously used to claim/create your account no longer works since it was already used to claim the account and a username and password were created.
