HCP & Private Price Book & Settings

The HCP & Private Price Book & Settings section allows you to configure pricing structures for HCP and private clients. This includes managing price books, subsidy levels, and provider settings.

Accessing HCP & Private Settings

Navigate to Settings and select the HCP & Private tab to access these configuration options.

Price Book

The Price Book tab allows you to define and manage the rates charged for different service types. Each price book entry includes rates for different times of day and days of the week.

Viewing Price Book Entries

The price book displays in a searchable table showing:

  • Type – The name/type of the service

  • Category – The service category (Clinical, Everyday Living, or Independence)

  • Normal Rate – Standard weekday rates

  • Saturday/Sunday/Holiday Rates – Weekend and public holiday rates

Use the search bar to filter entries by any field.

Adding a Price Book Entry

  1. Click the + button to open the Add Price Detail form

  2. Complete the required fields:

    • Type – Enter the service type name (required)

    • Category – Select from Clinical, Everyday Living, or Independence (required)

    • Invoice Description – Optional description that appears on invoices

    • AM Start / PM Start – Define the times that separate AM and PM rate periods

  3. Enter the rates for each period:

    • Normal AM/PM Rate – Standard weekday rates

    • Saturday AM/PM Rate – Saturday rates

    • Sunday AM/PM Rate – Sunday rates

    • Holiday AM/PM Rate – Public holiday rates

  4. Click Save to create the entry

Editing a Price Book Entry

  1. Click the action menu (three dots) on the row you want to edit

  2. Select Edit

  3. Modify the fields as needed

  4. Click Save to apply changes

Deleting a Price Book Entry

  1. Click the action menu (three dots) on the row you want to delete

  2. Select Delete

  3. Confirm the deletion in the modal that appears

Levels

The Levels tab contains two sections for managing subsidy levels.

DSA Levels (Daily Subsidy Amount)

DSA Levels define the daily subsidy amounts for different funding levels.

Adding a DSA Level:

  1. Click the + button

  2. Enter the level Name

  3. Set the Priority (used for ordering)

  4. Enter the Daily Subsidy Amount

  5. Click Save

Managing DSA Levels:

  • Use the search bar to filter levels

  • Click the action menu to Edit or Delete a level

SAH Levels (Support at Home)

SAH Levels define the funding amounts for different Support at Home package levels.

Adding an SAH Level:

  1. Click the + button

  2. Enter the level Name

  3. Set the Priority (used for ordering)

  4. Enter the Amount (daily subsidy amount)

  5. Click Save

Managing SAH Levels:

  • Use the search bar to filter levels

  • Click the action menu to Edit or Delete a level

Settings

The Settings tab contains your Home Care Package provider configuration.

Available Fields

Home Care Provider ID

Your registered Home Care Provider identifier

Care Management Cost (%)

The percentage charged for care management services

Package Management Cost (%)

The percentage charged for package management services

Editing Settings

  1. Click the Edit button in the top right corner

  2. Update the fields as needed

  3. Click Save to apply your changes

Tips

  • AM and PM rates allow you to charge different amounts based on the time of day the service is delivered

  • Weekend and holiday rates are automatically applied when services are scheduled on those days

  • The Care Management Cost and Package Management Cost percentages are used when calculating client billing

  • DSA and SAH levels help manage different funding tiers for clients with varying package levels
