Accessing the Import Feature
Navigate to Settings from the main menu
Select Import from the left sidebar
Downloading the Example File
Before importing clients, we recommend downloading the sample CSV file to ensure your data is formatted correctly.
Click the Download example button
A file named
client_import_sample.csvwill be downloaded to your computerOpen this file in a spreadsheet application (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) to see the required columns and format
The sample file contains:
All required column headers
Example data showing the correct format for each field
Preparing Your CSV File
When preparing your import file:
Use the downloaded sample file as a template
Keep the column headers exactly as they appear in the sample file
Fill in your client data in the rows below the headers
Save the file in CSV format (
.csv)
Tips for Successful Imports
Use CSV format only – The system only accepts
.csvfiles. If you're using Excel, choose "Save As" and select "CSV" as the file typeKeep column headers unchanged – The system uses the headers to identify which data goes into which field
Check for special characters – Ensure names and addresses don't contain characters that might cause parsing issues
Remove blank rows – Delete any empty rows at the end of your file
Verify data before importing – Double-check that all required fields are filled in correctly
Importing Your Clients
Click on the file upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
The system will validate that you've selected a valid CSV file
Click the Import Clients button
Wait for the import to complete – you'll see a success message when finished
After Importing
Once your clients are imported:
They will appear in your Clients list
You can review each client's profile to verify the information was imported correctly
You can edit any client details that need adjustment
Troubleshooting

Tips
Start with a small test import (5-10 clients) to verify your file format is correct before importing your full client list
Keep a backup of your CSV file in case you need to reference or re-import
If you encounter repeated errors, compare your file column-by-column with the sample file to identify formatting differences
