Spotlight Search 2.0 now allows instant searching across Documents, Incident Reports, Reports, and Settings, on top of the existing ability to search Clients, Staff, and Pages. Everything is accessible from a single search bar, so you no longer need to remember where something lives in the system.
Results appear as you type, with noticeable performance improvements across the entire app. Even in larger organisations, Spotlight returns near-instant results, making it practical to use as your primary way to navigate Imploy.
Search results are grouped by category, helping you quickly understand what you are looking at and where it will take you. Recently accessed items are surfaced automatically, and filters let you narrow results to a specific area when needed.
Spotlight Search 2.0 is especially useful when:

You need to jump between clients, reports, documents, or settings quickly
You are onboarding new staff and want an easier way for them to find there way around.
This update removes unnecessary navigation and helps teams move through Imploy with confidence. If you’re ever stuck trying to find something, Spotlight Search is now the fastest way to get there.
It is accessible via the 'Search' tab at the top of the navigation bar on the left hand side, or by pressing 'Cmd/Crtl+K' on your keyboard.
