Client Setup Checklist

We’ve added a new Client Setup Checklist to help ensure new clients are fully configured from day one, reducing interruptions to rostering, invoicing, and claims.

When a client is added, a checklist now appears in the right-hand information panel on the client profile. It highlights the essential details that must be completed for the client to operate smoothly across scheduling and billing workflows.

The checklist covers the core setup steps:

  • Upload the care plan so staff and coordinators have the correct guidance.

  • Create a budget for NDIS clients to support tracking and claims.

  • Complete funding details, including references and funding specifics.

  • Add team allocation so the right staff are notified and connected.

  • Set invoice recipients to ensure billing and invoices go to the correct parties.

Each checklist item is actionable. Clicking a step takes you directly to the relevant tab and automatically opens the correct modal or form to complete that task. There is no need to search through the profile or menus to find where something lives.

As each requirement is completed, the checklist updates in real time. Once all required information is uploaded or filled in, the checklist disappears automatically, keeping the profile clean and uncluttered.

This feature is designed to prevent common setup gaps that can delay services, break invoicing, or block claims. It provides a simple, visible way to confirm that a client is ready before work begins, making day-to-day operations more reliable for both care teams and finance.
