We’ve added a new Budget Utilisation view to make it easier to understand how an NDIS budget is tracking over time, without needing to piece information together from multiple places.

This view is designed to help Support Coordinators and providers spot potential under- or over-utilisation early, while there is still time to adjust services or planning.

What it shows

The Budget Utilisation view clearly displays how much funding remains and how far through the budget period you are. Budgets are broken down into Core, Capacity, and Capital, giving a clear picture of where funding is being used.

Each category shows allocated versus remaining funding at a glance. Categories can be expanded to reveal more detail, including:

  • Funding progress, showing how much has been used and what remains.

  • Time progress, showing how much of the plan period has elapsed.

This side-by-side view of money and time makes it easier to see whether utilisation is tracking as expected.

Designed for clarity

Only categories with allocated funding are shown, keeping the view clean and relevant. The layout is also print-friendly, making it suitable for reviews, meetings, or sharing with participants and stakeholders.

This update gives teams a clearer, more confident way to monitor NDIS budgets and act early, rather than discovering issues late in the plan period.
