Step-by-Step Guide: Creating a Public Form

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to create a public form on IndyForms:

  1. Log in to your IndyForms account and access the Form Builder from the side menu.

  2. You can either "Create a New Form" or edit an existing one by clicking on the "Design" icon.

  3. Using the Toggle at the top right-hand corner, switch to 'Public' (default is Internal) and select the option to make the form Public.

  4. A pop-up message will appear, informing you that any generation schedules and group permissions will be cleared as public forms do not require permissions and cannot have hidden or restricted sections and fields.
    Click Yes to confirm.

  5. Save the form and set the form status to Active.

  6. Finally, click on the Publish button to make these changes live.

Your form will now be public and accessible to anyone who has the link or QR code.
