If a vehicle is called in for a recall, there is a 95% chance the vehicle WILL be flashed by the dealership. Unfortunately if this is the case, the OBDGenie programming WILL be removed. Fortunately, if you still have the OBDGenie, you simply must re-run the Genie (All Vehicle Manufacturers) and for 2018+ Vehicles (FCA - Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler, RAM) you'll also need the Security Gateway Bypass, you can re-run the programming after the dealership visit.

A portion of our customers who have 2019 RAM trucks, and 2021-2024 RAM trucks will be experiencing this recall about the braking system. If you purchased any upgrade that came with an OBDGenie and you are under recall, do not worry, you just need to run the programming after the recall appointment has been concluded.

If you lose the OBDGenie or Security Gateway bypass, please call our Sales Team to purchase a replacement.

This is a current Recall announced on September 7th, 2024.
