If the customer is installing a Sat Radio kit, there's a chance that the roof antenna may be not what our video describes. Instead they may have an antenna like this.
If that is the case, the roof mount antenna included in the kit will not be used. They will continue to use their factory antenna. What they do instead, is use the included splitter cable, and install the splitter behind the radio. The blue antenna attached to the APIM will plug to the male curry connector on the splitter (cutting the bottom key off may be required to ensure it plugs) and the female blue will go to the back of the APIM, and the female curry will go to the SAT ACM module
