We've had one occurrence of the Light Switch that is included with this upgrade to add Foglight as an option, where after installation, the vehicle's headlights were stuck in the on position. The headlights would not turn off. Putting the old switch back in the vehicle allowed the lights to be turned off, but it required a 10 minute acclimation period for the vehicle to recognize the switch to function properly. What caused the headlights to have this issue was a result of the switch having a bent pin in the connector from the manufacturer. In fact, one of the pins was under the plastic molding so it looked like the switch only had 4 pins. Using the picture below, verify that the switch has all 5 pins and they are straight if the customer reports that their headlights cannot turn off.
