Uconnect 3 systems, the RA2, RA3, and RA4 do not have Apple CarPlay nor Android Auto. These are found in RAM trucks 2013-2017, Grand Cherokee and Durango 2014-2017, Charger/Challenger/Chrysler 300 in 2015-2016, Jeep Cherokee 2014-2018, and a different design for the 2017 Pacifica (Screen and radio are separate).
Uconnect 4 systems do have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (wired connection)
These include the UAQ, UAM, UAG, UAV and UAX systems.
UAQ's are found in 2018 RAM trucks, and 2019-2024 RAM Classic 1500's, 2018 Grand Cherokees, 2019-2021 Jeep Cherokees, 2017-current Charger/Challenger/Chrysler 300, 2018-2021 Durangos. We offer these for any vehicle that is capable of a Uconnect 3 from factory.
Vehicles that we offer the UAQ and UAS models that have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are 2013-2018 RAM trucks, 2019-2024 RAM Classics, 2014-2018 Jeep Grand Cherokees, 2015-2023 Dodge Charger, 2015-2023 Dodge Challenger, 2015-2023 Chrysler 300, 2014-2020 Dodge Durangos, 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL, and 2020-2023 Gladiator. We also offer these UAQ and UAS models to the Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Compass, however, both of those vehicles require a dealership programming service called a Proxi Alignment to force the vehicle to accept the radio.
UAV's are found in the 2019-2021 RAM trucks, and 2019-2021 Grand Cherokees. The UAX is found in 2019-2021 RAM trucks. The UAV and UAX are only compatible with New Body RAM 1500's 2019-2021, and the Heavy Duty Ram 2019-2021. Other variants include region specifics, most customers will be from North America, where the UAQ is the preferred option. UGQ's are for Europe use only, and UJQ's are for the Middle East, South America, and Australia.
Uconnect 5 systems do have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (wireless connection)
These include the UBD, UBL, UBQ and UBG systems. Currently the UBD is the only Uconnect 5 retrofit for 2013-2018 RAM trucks, and 2019+ Ram Classic 1500's. It's advised that the Uconnect 4 UAQ is the superior to the UBD as retrofits to the 2013-2018 RAM trucks and 2019+ RAM classic 1500's due to variations of HVAC settings. Sometimes the UBD's result in a temperature glitch that shows Celsius instead of Fahrenheit, although it's a very small fraction of orders experiencing that.
