Repair Part Number Not Listed

Superseded part numbers aren't all listed on repair pages for various radio repairs

If the part number of the radio you're looking to repair has the last digit being a letter off.. For example 68331631AK, 68331631AL, 68331631AM. That is not a problem. That is still the same part number as the ones listed. The last letter is just the indicator of when that radio left the manufacturing plant. Such as January is AA, February could be AB, halfway through February could be AC, etc. This does not mean the radio isn't the right part number. It's perfectly fine to send in a radio if all the numbers are the same except the last letter. Manufacturer refurbished units will actually have a ZA, ZB, ZC, etc. And those also are fine to send in for repair as long as all of the numbers match, despite the letters not so long as the second to last letter is an A or a Z. Anything else at the end may not be a factory part number and will need to be assessed by a representative to make sure, photo would be required.
