Intent reports can provide powerful information on companies that are looking for solutions similar to yours. You may want to continue to track these companies over time or stack these companies on top of Saved Searches to refine your segments.

To do this you'll first need to generate an Intent report and export those companies to an Excel file. (And this does not cost any credits!) This list of companies will be your original list which you will compare to the updated report you will receive every Sunday.

When you open Intent on the following Monday morning, you will see the new Intent report with all your filters and topics applied. To see what net new companies have appeared you'll need to select 'View in Advanced Search' and then upload the company domains from your original list to Suppression section of the ABM filter. (See screenshot below for reference).

*Note - Click on the file icon in the Suppression field to download a CSV file template and paste your company domains.

Any net new companies showing Intent will appear in the results!

Another great way to use your Intent report is to apply it on top of your Saved Searches.

Saved Searches allow you to save specific search criteria like Job Titles, Industry, Company Size, and many more that allow you to segment your target audience. By applying Intent companies on top of your Saved Searches you will easily be able to see the Decision Makers you wish to reach out to within the companies showing Intent for your solutions.

There are two ways to achieve this.

Option number one is to export the Intent companies. Once you have exported the companies from your Intent report, select the Saved Search you wish to apply those Intent companies to. Then add those companies to the Target Companies section in the ABM filter. (See screenshot below for reference).

Option number two is to use the List function. After you have generated your Intent report, save the companies to a Company List by selecting 'Add to List'. Then select the Saved Search you wish to apply those Intent companies to, and choose the list of Intent companies from the List filter. (See screenshot below for reference).
