You can create individual Prospects in Selling.com, but if you prefer to upload multiple Prospects at once, here's how you can accomplish that with just a few clicks.

Select ‘Prospects’ at the top of your screen, and then ‘Create Prospects’ on the right side of your screen.

Select the ‘Excel’ option, which will allow you to upload a CSV file of your Prospects.

To ensure that your upload works, please ensure that you have a column entitled ‘Email’, with the Prospects’ email addresses. You can also add columns with data points such as Name, Mobile Number, Work Number, Account (company), LinkedIn URL, or other useful data about the Prospect.

Before you upload the file, here’s how to complete the preparation pop-up on your screen:

  1. In the first block, you can either assign yourself or a colleague to be the prospect’s owner. You can also select ‘Assign Owner from CSV File’, which means you will need to include a column in your CSV file with the header being ‘Owner’, and the email address of the owner in the column, in the same row as the Prospects being assigned that owner.

  2. Select Rules for Existing Prospect allows you to tell the platform whether to overwrite information in the case where a Prospect already exists, or to simply fill in any missing fields for that Prospect.

  3. Select Owner for Existing Prospects allows you to change the owner of any Prospects that already exist, or keep the owner the same if you choose to.

  4. You can select or create a tag so that you remember which sequence(s) to include the prospects in.

  5. You can choose whether to select the final two check boxes or not depending on whether you would like company data to be included with each prospect’s information.

You can then select the Upload button and add your CSV file to be uploaded.

Reach out to your CSM if you have any questions via email or through the in app chat service.
