In this article we will review how to build a list based on Contact Location and/or HQ Location in Advanced Search.
First, you should know the difference between the two location filters. Contact location would be where the contact is based and HQ location would be where the company's HQ is located.
For each relevant field start by typing in your geographical criteria and select the relevant option(s) from the dropdown list.
You can get really granular with the Location Filter—as far as adding a Radius around a Zip Code entered. Add as many Zip Codes as you need.
Keep in mind that when you add filters to both the Contact Location and HQ Location sections, your results will only include contacts that match both criteria. If you’re open to working with companies headquartered overseas, it’s best to apply only the Contact Location filter and leave the HQ Location section blank to broaden your results.
