How Do I Use The ABM Filter In Advanced Search?

Our ABM filter, which stands for Account-Based Marketing, is designed to help you with the following:

Let's review each example below.

1. Identify companies based on Company Name or Domain

In the Target section on the ABM filter you can enter company names or domains one by one or upload a CSV file.

When searching by company name, select the Exact Match box to ensure the system returns the most accurate matches.

2. Suppress companies from you search based on Company Name or Domain

In the Suppression section on the ABM filter you can enter company names or domains one by one or upload a CSV file.

In the Suppression section, you can also exclude companies from your uploaded Domain Suppression list by checking the Domain Suppression box. Review this article for more insight on Domain Suppression.

3. Find companies with keywords in the name

In the Target section of the ABM filter, you can enter keywords to identify companies that include specific words in their name. For example, many mining businesses have the word 'Mining' in their company name.

4. Suppress companies based on top-level domains such .com, .net, .edu, .gov, etc

In the Suppression section of the ABM filter, you can use the Domain field to exclude any company with a specific top-level domain.
