Intent helps you identify companies that are doing online research around specific topics. There could be many different reasons why a company is conducting online research, but the idea is that these companies might be in their buying period!

Follow these steps to generate your first Intent Report:

The first step to generating an Intent Report is select the topics relevant to your company's solutions or offerings.

Note: There are thousands of topics to choose from and you can select up to 12 topics at a time.

Once you have selected your topics hit Choose Targeting.

In the next screen apply any filters that are specific to your search, for example HQ location or Industry. Then select Get Report.

Note: You would need to make at least 1 selection to have the report generated.

Once your Intent Report has generated you will see the list of companies that meet your criteria and are doing online research for the topics you've selected.

The screenshot below highlights the Topics column and the Intent Score column. The Topics column will show you the topics that have matched with each company, and the respective topic's score. The Intent Score displays the average of all of the individual topic scores.
